Free under the national programme
All vaccines in Nepal's National Immunization Programme are free of cost. Services are available through hospitals, primary health care centres, health posts, EPI clinics and mobile outreach clinics.
नेपालको राष्ट्रिय खोप कार्यक्रमका सबै खोपहरू निःशुल्क दिइन्छ। अस्पताल, प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र, स्वास्थ्य चौकी, ईपीआई क्लिनिक र मोबाइल खोप क्लिनिकबाट सेवा पाइन्छ।
Bring the vaccination card every visit
Keep the child's vaccination card, also called the Child Health Service Card, and bring it to every health-facility visit. Keeping the record helps the health worker see which dose is due next.
बच्चाको खोप कार्ड, जसलाई बाल स्वास्थ्य सेवा कार्ड पनि भनिन्छ, सुरक्षित राख्नुहोस् र स्वास्थ्य संस्थामा जाँदा सँगै लैजानुहोस्। कार्ड सुरक्षित राख्दा अर्को कुन मात्रा बाँकी छ भन्ने स्वास्थ्यकर्मीले हेर्न सक्छन्।
If a dose is missed
Take the child to the nearest health facility as soon as possible. A health worker can set the catch-up timing. BCG, JE and TCV may be given up to under age 5 if missed; MR catch-up uses two doses at least four weeks apart.
कुनै मात्रा छुटेमा बच्चालाई जतिसक्दो चाँडो नजिकको स्वास्थ्य संस्थामा लैजानुहोस्। स्वास्थ्यकर्मीले छुटेको खोपको समय मिलाउँछन्। BCG, JE र TCV छुटेमा ५ वर्षमुनिसम्म दिन सकिन्छ; MR catch-up मा कम्तीमा चार हप्ताको फरकमा दुई मात्रा दिइन्छ।
Separate Vitamin A and deworming campaigns
Vitamin A capsules for children 6–59 months and deworming tablets (Albendazole) for children 12 months–5 years are distributed in a separate national campaign twice a year, in Baisakh (April) and Kartik (October). They are not routine vaccines.

How the dates are worked outमिति कसरी निकालिन्छ
Due date = date of birth + the age in the schedule. Weeks count as 7 days; months count as calendar months.
दिनुपर्ने मिति = जन्म मिति + तालिकामा दिइएको उमेर। हप्ता ७ दिनका रूपमा र महिना पात्रो महिनाका रूपमा गनिन्छ।

Which vaccines are given at each age?कुन उमेरमा कुन खोप दिइन्छ?
At birth: BCG. At 6 weeks: OPV, Pentavalent, PCV and Rotavirus (dose 1). At 10 weeks: the same four, dose 2. At 14 weeks: OPV and Pentavalent dose 3, plus fIPV dose 1. At 9 months: PCV dose 3, fIPV dose 2 and MR dose 1. At 12 months: JE. At 15 months: MR dose 2 and TCV. The full table is on this page.
